Part 6 - Svarabhakti according to the ղṇaٲԲī辱 Śṣ�
The subject of Svarabhakti has been discussed by the ղṇaٲԲī辱 Śṣ�. According to the ղṇaٲԲī辱 Śṣ�, it belongs to the previous vowel�
स्वरभक्तिर्भवेत्तत्र� अपूर्वमाक्रम्य पठ्यते�
svarabhaktirbhavettatr apūrvamākramya paṭhyate|
(ղṇaٲԲī辱 Śṣ�, 53)
The ղṇaٲԲī辱 Śṣ� described that after a �r� or a �l� and before a spirant which is followed by a vowel is inserted a Srabhakti[1]. The ñⲹ Śṣ� also described this subject matter of Srabhakti in the same way[2]. The pronunciation of Srabhakti is not discussed by this Śṣ�. Although the ñⲹ Śṣ� clearly admits that the correct pronunciation of Srabhakti was like �i�. For example �Śٲś� was to be pronounced �Śٲś�.
