the sun, early in the morning, who is eager to wipe off the tears (dew) by his hands (rays).96 The poet Venkatesa refers to Khandita when he describes the morning. He writes- "There were Khanditas who were decorated by harsh words which were coming out on account of anger, at the sight of their lovers, who were embraced by other women... 97 etc. The eighth canto of the Gite-Govinda of Jayadeva
contains the description of Khandita. Radha proves that
Kṛṣṇa has enjoyed another girl, by describing his every
limb.
The seventh type of heroine is Abhisarikā. "Wise men
call her as Abhisarika, who having decorated herself goes
to the fixed place for love-sport with passion as well as
