वीक्ष्� तान् मुद्गर� नीत्वा
रोहिनी-नन्दनो बल�
आराच� चकार हुङ्कारं
यथ� सिंह� मृगान् प्रत�

īṣy tān mudgara� nītvā
dz󾱲ī-nandano bala�
ārāc huṅkāra�
yathā siṃho mṛgān prati

īṣyseeing; them; ܻ岵�aclub; īٱ�taking; dz󾱲ī-ԲԻ岹Բḥ�; ḥ�powerful; 峦�near; did; ṅk�a scream; ⲹٳ�as; ṃhḥ�a lion; ṛg�deer; pratito.

English translation of verse 5.8.38:

Seeing them coming, Lord 峾 took up a club and roared like a lion to herd of deer.
