The Garga-samhita Verses 5.8.36-37, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. भ्रातर� ऽष्ट� मह�-बलाः सुना�-सृष्टि-न्यग्रोध-तुष्टिमद�-राष्ट्�-पालकाः
सुहुना कङ्क-शङ्कुभ्यां
क्रो�-प्रस्फुरिताधरा�
खड्ग-चर्म-धर� योद्धु�
कृष्णोपर� समाययु�

kaṃsa� prapatita� ṛṣṭv
bhrātaro 'ṣṭau -� ܲ峾-ṛṣṭi-nyagrodha-tuṣṭimad-rāṣṭra-pālakā�
suhunā 첹ṅk-śaṅkubhyā�
ǻ-ܰ󲹰�
ḍg-carma-󲹰 yoddhu�
kṛṣṇopari samāyayu�

첹ṃs�ṃs; 貹پٲ�fallen; ṛṣṭvseeing; ٲḥ�brothers; ṣṭ�eight; -�very strong; ܲ峾-ṛṣṭi-nyagrodha-ٳṣṭ-ṣṭḥ�Sunāma, Sṛṣṭi, Nyagrodha, ճṣṭ, ṣṭ-; ܳܲ�with Suhu; 첹ṅk-śṅkܲ峾�with Kaṅka and Śṅk; krodha-ܰ󲹰ḥ�their lips trembling with rage; ḍg-carma-󲹰holding swords and shields; ǻܳ�to fight; ṛṣṇo貹�ṛṣṇa; ⲹḥ�approached.

English translation of verses 5.8.36-37:

Seeing that ṃs had fallen, ṃs's eight brothers, Sṛṣṭi, Nyagrodha, ճṣṭ, ṣṭ첹, Suhu, Kaṅka, and Śṅk, clutching swords and shields, and their lips trembling with rage, rushed Śrī ṛṣṇa to fight with Him.
