Analysis of Prativastu-upamā
On being enquired by ī and Buddhi about the happenings in the city in their absence, the minister reports that when king ī entered into the ʳṇḍī첹ܰ, ṇḍ, on the order of king ۲ṣm, occupied the city with his army-men (III.33):
ṇḍī첹ܰ rājṣi praviṣṭe randhralābhata |
svārājānujṣayā pāṇḍurarudhat sainikai puram ||
This is an illustration of Prativastūpmā as there is parallelism between the two sentences. The action indicated in both the sentences is the same, but is conveyed by two different words.
