Story of Yuyutsu
General.
Son of 顿丑峁泃补谤腻峁ａ弓谤补 by a 痴补颈艣测补 woman. He is not included in the 100 sons of 顿丑峁泃补谤腻峁ａ弓谤补. Yuyutsu is referred to by another name, "碍补谤补峁嘺" in 惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补, 膧di Parva, Chapter 68, Verse 113.
Other details.
(i) It was Yuyutsu who disclosed to the 笔腻峁囜笉补惫补蝉 that once Duryodhana gave poisoned food to 叠丑墨尘补蝉别苍补. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 膧di Parva, Chapter 128, Verse 37).
(ii) Yuyutsu was present at the 厂惫补测补峁僾补谤补 of 顿谤补耻辫补诲墨. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 膧di Parva, Chapter 185, Verse 2).
(iii) In 叠丑腻谤补迟补 Yuddha, Yuyutsu joined the 笔腻峁囜笉补惫补 party. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 叠丑墨峁补 Parva, Chapter 43, Verse 100).
(iv) He was an eminent warrior and an honest and mighty hero. Many Kings attacked him in the city 痴腻谤补峁嚹乿补迟补. He was not able to fulfil his desire to kill all of them. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 顿谤辞峁嘺 Parva, Chapter 10, Verse 58).
(v) In 叠丑腻谤补迟补 Yuddha he fought with 厂耻产腻丑耻 and cut off his hands. (顿谤辞峁嘺 Parva, Chapter 25, Verse 13).
(vi) The bullocks tied to Yuyutsu鈥檚 chariot were killed by Bhagadatta鈥檚 elephant. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 顿谤辞峁嘺 Parva, Chapter 26, Verse 56).
(vii) Yuyutsu severely rebuked the Kauravas who rejoiced over the death of Bhagadatta. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 顿谤辞峁嘺 Parva, Chapter 72, Verse 60).
(viii) Yuyutsu was defeated in his fight with 鲍濒奴办补. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 碍补谤峁嘺 Parva, Chapter 25. Verse 11).
(ix) As advised by 艢r墨 碍峁涐梗峁嘺 and Dharmaputra, Yuyutsu went to 贬补蝉迟颈苍腻辫耻谤补 with the ladies of the royal family. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 艢补濒测补 Parva, Chapter 29, Verse 86).
(x) On his return after the battle, Yuyutsu described the details of the battle to Vidura. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 艢补濒测补 Parva, Chapter 29. Verse 21).
(xi) At the suggestion of Dharmaputra, Yuyutsu began to attend on 顿丑峁泃补谤腻峁ａ弓谤补 to serve him. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 艢腻苍迟颈 Parva, Chapter 41, Verse 17).
(xii) Yuyutsu was guarding 贬补蝉迟颈苍腻辫耻谤补 when the 笔腻峁囜笉补惫补蝉 went to the 贬颈尘腻濒补测补蝉 to get money from Marutta. (础艣惫补尘别诲丑补 Parva, Chapter 63, Verse 24).
(xiii) Under the leadership of Yuyutsu, the 笔腻峁囜笉补惫补蝉 offered Jal膩帽jali (offering libations of water) to 顿丑峁泃补谤腻峁ａ弓谤补. (膧艣ramav膩sika Parva, Chapter 39, Verse 12).
(xiv) When the 笔腻峁囜笉补惫补蝉 departed on their Mah膩prasth膩na after handing over the reign of the country to 笔补谤墨办峁迟, it was Yuyutsu who was entrusted with the task of supervising 笔补谤墨办峁迟 and the country. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 Mah膩prasth膩na Parva Chapter 1, Verse 6).
