厂奴谤测补惫补峁兣沘 (啶膏啶班啶さ啶傕ざ).鈥擜n important dynasty of ancient Bh膩rata. It is stated in Dev墨bh膩gavata, Skandha 7, as follows about the origin of this Solar dynasty.

The Lord of creation Brahm膩 originated from the lotus in the navel of Vi峁ａ箛u. That Brahm膩 did penance for ten thousand years and pleased Par膩艣akti, the great goddess of power, and started creation. First of all he created seven mental sons. Of them Mar墨ci became expert in creation. Praj膩pati Ka艣测补pa the son of Mar墨ci became a greater expert. The Sun is the son of Ka艣测补pa. Nine sons named Ik峁膩ku, N膩bh膩ga, Dh峁涐梗峁璦, 艢ary膩ti, Nari峁anta, Pr膩峁兣泆, N峁沢a, Di峁ａ弓a, Kar奴峁 and P峁涐梗adhra were born to the Sun. Of these Ik峁膩ku became King. This line of Kings born from the Sun is called 厂奴谤测补惫补峁兣沘 (Solar dynasty). (See the Genealogy).

According to Thakur Deshraj the kshatriyas who followed Solar calender for the calculation of time were called Suryavamshi. Rama was born in Suryavamsha.
