ś (सर्वाश�) refers to “every sort of desire� (the cessation of which is to be sought after by those wishing to realize the true Self), according to the Aṣṭāvakragītā (5th century BC), an ancient text on spirituality dealing with Advaita-Vedānta topics.—Accordingly, [as Aṣṭavakra says to Janaka]: “[...] My son, you may recite or listen to countless scriptures, but you will not be established within until you can forget everything. You may, as a learned man, indulge in wealth, activity and meditation, but your mind will still long for that which is the cessation of desire (ś), and beyond all goals. [citta� nirastasarvāśamatyartha� rocayiṣyati] It is because of effort that everyone is in pain, but no-one realises it. By just this simple instruction, the lucky one attains tranquility. [...]�.

It deals with the salvation, cosmogony (i.e., the order of cosmic regions) and contains a bibliography of Tantric literature.—The catalogue includes the term—Sarvasa in its ‘subject-matter list� or Viṣaya (which lists topics, chapters and technical terms).
