Shiksha (linguistics: phonetics, phonology etc.)
: Wisdom Library: 艢ik峁Ｄ�Saptama (啶膏お啷嵿い啶�, 鈥渢he seventh鈥�) is the name of a note (svara) used by singers of the 蝉腻尘补蝉 (religious songs from S膩maveda), corresponding to the 辫补帽肠补尘补-蝉惫补谤补 of the flute, according to the N膩rad墨y膩-艣墨k峁Ｄ� 1.5.1. The N膩rad墨y膩-艣墨k峁Ｄ� is an ancient Sanskrit treatise dealing phonetics and musicology. Its proclaimed author is the N膩rada.
Shiksha (啶多た啶曕啶粪ぞ, 艣ik峁Ｄ�) deals with Sanskrit linguistics and represents a branch of vedanga (vedic ancillary science). Shiksha deals with subjects such as phonetics, phonology, study of sound, letters of the Sanskrit alphabet and related topics. Much attention is also given to the study of recitation (patha) of Vedic verses.
Vyakarana (Sanskrit grammar)

Vyakarana (啶掂啶ぞ啶曕ぐ啶�, vy膩kara峁嘺) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.

[...] In the seventh (saptama) year, he can leave the earth and in the eighth [year], the [yogic] powers [such as minimization, etc.,] arise for him. In the ninth year, he can move in the atmosphere, travel in [all] directions and has a body [as hard as] a diamond. [...]鈥�.
Yoga is originally considered a branch of Hindu philosophy (astika), but both ancient and modern Yoga combine the physical, mental and spiritual. Yoga teaches various physical techniques also known as 膩sanas (postures), used for various purposes (eg., meditation, contemplation, relaxation).

Shakta (啶多ぞ啶曕啶�, 艣膩kta) or Shaktism (艣膩ktism) represents a tradition of Hinduism where the Goddess (Devi) is revered and worshipped. Shakta literature includes a range of scriptures, including various Agamas and Tantras, although its roots may be traced back to the Vedas.
