Source: Wisdom Library: 艢ilpa-艣膩stra惭补帽肠补产补苍诲丑补 (啶啷嵿啶え啷嵿ぇ) refers to a variety of 补诲丑颈峁ａ弓丑腻苍补, which is a pedestal or base of a structure, and a very important component in the art of construction (艣颈濒辫补). 惭补帽肠补产补苍诲丑补 is mentioned in the M膩nas膩ra (chapter 14), the Mayamata, the K膩艣yapa艣颈濒辫补 and the 艢ilparatna. 惭补帽肠补产补苍诲丑补 is classified under its parent group named pratibandha, according to the K膩艣yapa艣颈濒辫补.

M膩nas膩ra gives five varieties of ma帽cabandha-补诲丑颈峁ａ弓丑腻苍补 of equal height. The details of this plinth, given by these Texts, are almost the same. M膩nas膩ra and Mayamata both state that this kind of plinth should be used for the palaces of Gods and Kings.
