Verse 3.10 - The seven divisions of ū屹ī貹

भरतहैमवतहरिविदेहरम्यकहरण्यवतैरावतवर्षा� क्षेत्राणि � �.१० �
bharatahaimavataharivideharamyakaharaṇyavatairāvatavarṣāḥ kṣetrāṇi || 3.10 ||
ٲṣa, Ჹٲṣa, Ჹṣa, վṣa, 鲹ⲹ첹ṣa, Ჹṇyٲṣa and 屹ٲṣa are the seven regions (ṣeٰ). (10)

अन्वयार्�: इस जम्बूद्वी� मे� भर�, हैमव�, हर�, विदे�, रम्य�, हैरण्यवत और ऐराव�-ये सा� क्षेत्� हैं।

What are the seven divisions of ū屹ī貹, separated by the six mountain-chains?
The names Bharata and the rest are prevalent from eternity and are without cause. Where is ٲṣa (Bharataṣeٰ) situated? It is the country in the south of the mountain chain of ᾱ parvata and surrounded by ocean on the other three sides. It is in the shape of a bow. It is divided into six regions by the mountain chain of վᲹ parvata and the two rivers, Ҳṅg and Sindhu. In the north of (small) ᾱ parvata and south of Ѳ parvata, and surrounded by ocean in the east and the west, is the Ჹٲṣa (Haimavataṣeٰ). In the south of the mountain chain of ṣa parvata and north of the Ѳ parvata, and surrounded by ocean in the east and the west, lies the Ჹṣa (Hariṣeٰ). In the north of the mountain chain of ṣa parvata and south of ī parvata, and surrounded by ocean in the east and the west, is the վṣa (Videhaṣeٰ). In the north of the mountain chain of ī parvata and south of ܰ쳾ī parvata, and surrounded by ocean in the east and the west, is the 鲹ⲹ첹ṣa (Ramyakaṣeٰ). In the north of the mountain chain of ܰ쳾ī parvata and south of Śī parvata, and surrounded by ocean in the east and the west, is the Ჹṇyٲṣa (Hairaṇyavataṣeٰ). In the north of the mountain chain of Śī parvata, and surrounded by ocean on the other three sides, is the 屹ٲṣa (Airāvataṣeٰ). It is divided into six regions by the mountain chain of վᲹ parvata and the two rivers, 鲹 and 鲹ٴǻ.
