Story of Danu
General information.
Danu, the daughter of 顿补办峁 was married to 碍补艣测补辫补 笔谤补箩腻辫补迟颈. It is mentioned in 惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 that the 顿腻苍补惫补蝉 (demons) were born from Danu.
Sons.
One hundred sons were born to Danu. The following are the important among them.
1. Vipracitti 3. Namuci
2. 艢ibara 4. 笔耻濒辞尘腻
5. 础蝉颈濒辞尘腻 20. 础艣惫补gr墨van
8. Aya艣艣iras 23. Ekap膩d
10. 础艣惫补艣a峁卥u 25. 痴颈谤奴辫腻办峁
12. Am奴rdh膩 27. Nicandra
18. 痴峁涐梗补辫补谤惫补苍 33. Candra.
19. Ajaka
(This sun and the moon (厂奴谤测补 and Candra) are not the planets).
From the sons named above ten families of 顿腻苍补惫补蝉 (asuras) arose. The founders of the families are mentioned below:

5. 痴腻迟腻辫颈 10. 顿墨谤驳丑补箩颈丑惫补
All the d膩navas or Asuras belong to one of these ten families. (惭补丑腻产丑腻谤补迟补 膧di Parva, Chapter 65).
