Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu

The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.121; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र जैह्म्ये�, यथ� श्री-दशमे (१०.३२.१५) �
सभाजयित्वा तम� अनङ्�-दीपन�
सहास-लीलेक्षण-विभ्रम-भ्रुवा �
संस्पर्शनेनाȨ�-कृताȨघ्रि-हस्तयो�
संस्तुत्� ईषत् कुपिता बभाषिर� ॥२.�.१२१॥

tatra jaihmyena, yathā śrī-daśame (10.32.15) �
sabhājayitvā tam Բṅg-ī貹Բ�
sahāsa-līlekṣaṇa-vibhrama-bhruvā |
ṃs貹śԱṅk-ṛtṅg-󲹲ٲ�
saṃstutya īṣat kupitā babhāṣire
||2.4.121||

English translation

An example of 󾱳ٳٳ from deceit, Śī-岵ٲ [10.32.16]:
“Śrī ṛṣṇa had awakened romantic desires within the DZī, and they honored Him by glancing at Him with playful smiles, gesturing amorously with their eyebrows, and massaging His hands and feet as they held them in their laps. Even while worshiping Him, however, they felt somewhat angry, and thus they addressed Him as follows.�
