अत्र रसस्� रसेन सह विरो� इत� यद� उक्तम्, तत� तु तत�-सामग्री-भूतस्य स्थाय्य्-आदेर� एव � तु रसस्�, तस्य विगलित-वेद्यान्तर-स्वरूपत्वात्�
atra rasasya rasena saha virodha iti yad uktam, tat tu tat-sāmagrī-bhūtasya sthāyy-āder eva na tu rasasya, tasya vigalita-vedyāntara-svarūpatvāt.
In this chapter, when it was said that rasas are mutually contradictory, that only relates to a ٳ⾱-屹 which has all the ingredients of a rasa (屹, Գܲ屹, and ⲹ) (aesthetic delight) (4.7-8), not to rasa (rapture), because in rasa, by nature all else that is known fades away (4.7 ṛtپ).
Commentary:
Mammaṭa ends the chapter only in this way: rasa-śabdenātra sthāyi-屹 ܱ貹ṣyٱ, “The ٳ⾱-屹 is indicated by the word rasa� (屹ⲹ-ś).
