अविशेष-परिवृत्तोऽविशेषे �-विशेषः. यथ�, ददात� नि�-भक्तेभ्य� रत्नान� मधुसूदनः. अत्र सर्व� ददातीत्य् अविशेष� वाच्यः.
śṣa-parivṛtto'viśeṣe -śṣa�. yathā, dadāti nija-bhaktebhyo ratnāni madhusūdana�. atra sarva� dadātīty aviśeṣo vācya�.
(15) The fault named śṣa-貹ṛtٲ (too particular) means śṣe -śṣa (a particularity when a generality should be made). For instance: “Madhusūdana gives gems to His devotees.� Here a nonspecific meaning should have been stated instead: “Madhusūdana gives everything to His devotees.�
