鈥�From the 颁补峁囜笉腻濒补, on the Vaideha woman, is born鈥�, the caste, named 笔补峁囜笉耻蝉辞辫腻办补.
His livelihood is next stated.鈥擧e 鈥�deals in bamboos鈥�,鈥斺赌�迟惫补办蝉腻谤补鈥� being a name of the Bamboo; it is by bamboos,鈥�i.e., by buying and selling bamboos and by making mats and other things鈥攖hat these people live.
鈥�From the 狈颈峁Ｄ乨补鈥欌�攐n the same woman鈥攊s born the 膧丑颈峁囜笉颈办补. The livelihood of these men may be the one implied by the name itself (i.e., snake-catching), or something else may be found out鈥�(37)
