Medh膩tithi鈥檚 commentary (manubh膩峁a):
鈥�Deeds and dealings鈥欌�攕tand for actions of body and speech. Both these are cruel in the case of the caste mentioned.
This is only a description of the character of the man;鈥攖he term 鈥�stuff鈥� standing for nature. The two natures assert themselves, since the child is born of the two castes.鈥�(9)
