The Garga-samhita Verse 1.11.31, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 11 (Description of Shri Krishnacandra’s Birth) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-वसुदेव उवाच
एक� यः प्रकृत�-गुणैर् अनेकधासि
हर्त� त्वं जन� उतास्य पालकस् त्वम�
निर्लिप्तः स्फाटि� इवाद्य दे�-वर्णैस�
तस्म� श्री-भुवन-पत� नमाम� तुभ्यम�

śī-vasudeva uvāca
eko ya� ṛt-guṇair anekadhāsi
hartā tva� janaka utāsya pālakas tvam
nirlipta� sphāṭika ivādya deha-varṇais
tasmai śī-bhuvana-pate namāmi tubhyam

śī-ܻ𱹲� ܱ峦�Śī Vasudeva said; 첹ḥ�one; ⲹḥ�who; ṛtof matter; ṇaḥ�with the modes; anekadhā—many; are; 󲹰�remover; ٱ�you; janakaO father; ܳٲ�indeed; asyaof him; 첹�protector; ٱ�You; Ծ辱ٲḥ�untouched; ṭi첹�crystal; like; adya—tǻ岹; dehaof the body; ṇaḥ�with the colors; ٲ�to Him; śī-bhuvana-pateO master of the world; Բ峾�I offer my respectful obeisances; ٳܲⲹ�to You.

English translation of verse 1.11.31:

Although You are one, the modes of material nature make You (seem to be)

many. You are the creator, maintainer, and destroyer (of the worlds). As crystal is colorless, You are untouched by material qualtities. O master of the worlds, I bow down before You.
