蝉补帽箩腻迟补鈥搃s awoken; 辫谤别尘补办腻迟鈥揵y which pure love of God; ca鈥揳苍诲; 补蝉尘腻迟鈥搕han this; 肠补迟耻岣�-惫补谤驳补鈥搕he four goals of life; 惫颈岣峚尘产补办腻迟鈥搕o appear worthless; 迟补迟-辫腻诲补-补产箩补鈥�(service) to His lotus feet; 惫补艣墨办腻谤腻迟鈥搘hich brings under control; anyat鈥搊迟丑别谤; 蝉腻诲丑测补尘鈥搒piritual objective; na鈥搉辞迟; 办颈帽肠补苍补鈥揳苍测.

鈥淭his form of worship, which causes the four Vedic goals鈥搑eligiosity, economic development, sense gratification, and liberation鈥搕o appear worthless, is capable of awakening love of God in the heart. Indeed, 艢谤墨 惭补诲补苍补-驳辞辫腻濒补 can be brought under control only by such worship, and therefore it is the best art of subjugation. Thus, there is no goal superior to this worship.

艢谤墨 Gopa-办耻尘腻谤补 thinks, 鈥淏y the execution of this worship, pure love for the Lord that is perfect and complete arises in the heart. No other attainment is superior to this devotion at the lotus feet of 艢谤墨 Madana-驳辞辫腻濒补. The reason is that this worship trifles and mocks the four Vedic goals鈥搑eligiosity (dharma), economic development (artha), sense gratification (办腻尘补), and liberation (尘辞办峁�a). It alone can enchant 艢谤墨 惭补诲补苍补-驳辞辫腻濒补, and so it is the special ingredient for controlling His lotus feet.鈥�
