ղṣṇīپٳ (वैष्णवीतिथि) refers to the twelfth tithi, according to the 10th century ܰܰṇa: one of the various Upapurāṇas depicting Śaivism.—The Śṇa屹岹śī-ٲ is described in the ܰܰṇa (15.3ff) by the Sun-god to Yājñavalkya. The twelfth tithi is very dear to Viṣṇu. It is called ṣṇī-پٳ. If the twelfth tithi of Śuklapakṣa is united with Śravaṇa-nakṣatra it is called Ჹ-屹岹śī.
