- bad path (ś-) and good path (ś-);
- worldly path (ܰ쾱첹-) and supraworldly path (ǰdzٳٲ-);
- path of concentration (-) and path of wisdom (ñ峾);
- impure path (-) and pure path ();
- path of those who practice (śṣa-) and path of those who no longer practice (aśṣa-);
- path of seeing (岹śԲ-) and path of meditation (屹-);
- path of those who seek the truth as a result of faith (śԳܲ) and path of those who seek the truth as a result of scripture (Գܲ);
- path of those who are candidates for the fruit of the religious life (貹پ貹ԲԲ첹-) and path of those who are in possession of these fruits (ٲ-);
- path of expulsion of the conflicting emotions (ԲԳٲⲹ-) and path of deliverance from the conflicting emotions (ܰپ-);
- path of whose who are convinced by means of faith (śܰٲ-) and path of those who have the speculative view (ṣṛṭiٲ-);
- path of those who are delivered by means of wisdom (ñ屹ܰٲ-) and path of those who are doubly delivered (ܲⲹٴDz岵ܰٲ-).
There are innumerable twofold paths of this kind.

Mahayana (महायान, mahāyāna) is a major branch of Buddhism focusing on the path of a Bodhisattva (spiritual aspirants/ enlightened beings). Extant literature is vast and primarely composed in the Sanskrit language. There are many ūٰ of which some of the earliest are the various Prajñāpāramitā ūٰ.
