: Brill: 艢aivism and the Tantric TraditionsSamast膩dhvan (啶膏ぎ啶膏啶むぞ啶о啶掂え啷�) refers to the 鈥渆ntire cosmic path鈥�, according to the J帽膩naratn膩val墨, (p. 267).鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淣ext, the 产丑补耻迟颈办墨-诲墨办峁Ｄ� is twofold, and it is said [in the scriptures]: 鈥榌...]鈥�. This is the meaning: 鈥榠n the same way鈥� means through 办谤颈测腻测辞驳补, that it to say the rituals and union [with the respective deity] for the 蝉补办腻尘补 and ak膩ma bhautik墨 are just like those for the 蝉补办腻尘补 and ak膩ma nai峁ａ弓hik墨. Therefore the ritual for the 蝉补办腻尘补 kind is the purification of the universe up to 尘腻测腻. For the 苍颈峁腻尘补 it is the purification of the entire cosmic path [i.e., 蝉补尘补蝉迟腻诲丑惫补苍-惫颈艣辞诲丑补苍补] and then union. Or rather, for the 蝉补办腻尘补 there is union with enjoyments in the pure universe, and for the 苍颈峁腻尘补 there is union with 艢iva. [鈥鈥�.
