Vaishnavism (Vaishava dharma)
: Pure Bhakti: Bhagavad-gita (4th edition)ū岵Dz峾ī (रूपागोस्वामी) refers to “the foremost follower of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. His mission was to show living entities the path to their highest auspiciousness, service to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa in the mood of the damsels of Vraja within whom the acme of spontaneous devotion resides eternally and inherently. The three commentators of this ī are purely in the line of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī and dedicated to disseminating his teachings�. (cf. Glossary page from Śrīmad-Bhagavad-ī).

Vaishnava (वैष्णव, vaiṣṇava) or vaishnavism (vaiṣṇavism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshipping Vishnu as the supreme Lord. Similar to the Shaktism and Shaivism traditions, Vaishnavism also developed as an individual movement, famous for its exposition of the dashavatara (‘ten avatars of Vishnu�).
