Certain plant parts of R膩jasar峁pa are eaten as a vegetable (艣腻办补), according to Caraka in his Carakasa峁僪it膩 s奴trasth膩na (chapter 27), a classical Ayurvedic work. The synonym was identified in the 搁腻箩补苍颈驳丑补峁囜弓耻 (verse 16.121), which is a 13th century medicinal thesaurus.
