: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchThe Pupils (of the eye) are denoted by the Sanskrit term Tārā, according to sources such as the Candrāvalokana and the Anubhavanivedanastotra.—Accordingly, while describing the highest reality through the practice of Śāmbhavī Mudrā: “When the Yogin’s mind and breath have dissolved into his inward focus, while he is looking outwards and below and [yet] also not looking [at anything] with a gaze in which his pupils are unmoving, [then] this, indeed, is Śāmbhavī Mudrā. [...]�.

Yoga is originally considered a branch of Hindu philosophy (astika), but both ancient and modern Yoga combine the physical, mental and spiritual. Yoga teaches various physical techniques also known as āsanas (postures), used for various purposes (eg., meditation, contemplation, relaxation).
