caupāya (चौपा�).—Of this word only some oblique cases occur, as caupāyāñcā, caupāyānnī, caupāyī�, and this last especially; as caupāyī� ugavaṇēṃ or Ჹṇĸ To turn out good and right in the four feet, or in all his points--a horse. Hence, ironically, to cast off all shame; to burst from all restraint and check; to become adept in cōrī, cāhaḍ�, śindaḷakī, labāḍ�, or in all dissoluteness and libertinism. caupāyī� utaraṇēṃ To be born white in the extremities of the four legs--a horse, bullock &c. 2 To have gourdiness in the four legs: also to be overfatigued and have congestion there. caupāyī� kāḍhaṇēṃ To set out in a gallop (a horse). caupāyī� nighaṇēṃ-suṭaṇēṃ-dhāvaṇēṃ- paḷaṇēṃ-uḍaṇēṃ &c.
