Source: Wisdom Library: Maha Prajnaparamita SastraĀٳ첹ṅg (आध्यात्मिकसङ्ग) refers to “inner attachment� and represents one of the two types of afflictions (ś) according to Mahāprajñāpāramitāśāstra chapter 13. The afflictions (ś) are called ś (in Chinese, fan nao) because they vex (fan) and torment (nao) the mind.

Mahayana (महायान, mahāyāna) is a major branch of Buddhism focusing on the path of a Bodhisattva (spiritual aspirants/ enlightened beings). Extant literature is vast and primarely composed in the Sanskrit language. There are many ūٰ of which some of the earliest are the various Prajñāpāramitā ūٰ.
