Up.: sa yadi tasya kartā bhavati (i. e. if a man has committed a theft) tata evānṛtamātmāna� kurute (and by denying it makes himself untrue) sonṛtābhisaṃdhonṛtenātmānamantarya paraśu� tapta� parigṛhṇāti sa dahyatetha hanyate . atha yadi tasyākartā bhavati tata eva satyamātmāna� kurute sa satyābhisaṃdha� satyenātmānamantarya paraśu� tapta� parigṛhṇāti sa na dahyatetha mucyate.
