This page relates “Alamkara (30): Vyaghata or frustration as it appears in the case study regarding the Srikanthacarita and the Mankhakosa. The Shrikanthacarita was composed by Mankhaka, sometimes during A.D. 1136-1142. The Mankhakosa or the Anekarthakosa is a kosa text of homonymous words, composed by the same author.

Part 5ad - Alaṃkāra (30): ղ岵ٲ or frustration
If a certain thing, which is done by one man by a certain means, is undone by another by the same means, there is ղ岵ٲ[1] or frustration. In the verse, ⲹܱ ܲٲ[2]…., it has been stated that Lord Ś considers ī as to be adorned by many ornaments. While indulging Herself too much in the swinging sport, ī’s ornaments broken or slipped off, but Her own natural beauty comes to light, noticing that Lord Ś found Her more decorated by onaments. Hence, it is an instance of ղ岵ٲ. Another example of this figure noticed in the Śī첹ṇṭٲmudhaiva [3] ….
