Part 5ac - Alaṃkāra (29): 峾Բⲹ or sameness

When something in question is spoken of as having become undistinguishable from something else on account of similar qualities, there is 峾Բⲹ or Sameness.[1] In the verse, nidadhe savidhe śrutervadhūbhi[2] …�., there is the mention of the state of undstinguishibility of the Campaka flower, gold ear-rings, the temples and cheeks of a maiden. This is because of the similar quality of the white colour of each of them. Hence, the example under discussion stands as an illustration of the figure 峾Բⲹ.
