The author of the Rukmi峁嚹玥ara峁嘺 is 痴补迟蝉补谤腻箩补; who was a minister and court poet of Paramardideva of 碍腻濒颈帽箩补谤补. There is not much information about him or his family.
He has written different varieties of drama (谤奴辫补办补蝉), i.e.
- Rukmi峁嚹玥ara峁嘺, an 莫丑腻尘峁沢补;
- 罢谤颈辫耻谤补诲腻丑补, a D墨ma;
- Samudramanthana, a 厂补尘补惫补办腻谤补;
- Karpuracarita, a 叠丑腻峁嘺;
- H膩syacu岣嵞乵a峁噄, a Prahasana and
- Kir膩t膩rjuniya, a 痴测腻测辞驳补.
痴补迟蝉补谤腻箩补 was the minister of Paramardideva, who reigned from 1163 to 1203 A.D. and also of Trailokyavarman who succeeded Paramardideva and lasted until about the end of the first half of the 13th century. Therefore, the date of 痴补迟蝉补谤腻箩补 should be between the second half of the 12th century and the first quarter of the 13th century A.D.
