[Praise of worship of Śپ by Mantra, Yantra and Tantras]

Bindu is the source for the various ṣa (lipi) arising out of its swelling effect. Mantras and Yantras for invoking various Gods and Goddesses are formed of these ṣa only. The yantras are made of various materials like Mud, Stone, Cloth, Iron, Copper, Silver and Gold. As per one’s requirement, the worship on these are performed with the prescribed mantras, to get the desired results. ’s Śپs, which act in the form of objects of cognition (ū, rasa etc) are equated to nectar. They grant the wish of the worshipper, when they are pleased with their ū. But if they go wrong in spelling mantras or in following the prescribed procedures, the very same Śپs act destructively.[8] These Śپs acquire their power to grant boons only by worshipping , the ṛk svaū.
