Cidgaganacandrika 138 [Vimarsha reflects Prakasha of Cit as Upadanakarana], English comparative study extracted from the two available commentaries—the Divyacakorika and the Kramaprakashika. The Cidgagana-candrika is an important Tantric work belonging to the Krama system of Kashmir Shaivism. Written by Kalidasa (Shrivatsa) in 312 Sanskrit verses, it deals with the knowledge regarding both the Macrocosmic and Microcosmic phenomena

स्त्यायमानशिवचिद्रसात्मक� भाववृन्दमधिरुह्य भामयी �
खानिलाग्निजलभूमिभासिनी शम्भुत� प्रभृत� जृम्भस� शिवे � १३� �

styāyamānaśivacidrasātmaka� bhāvavṛndamadhiruhya bhāmayī |
khānilāgnijalabhūmibhāsinī śambhuta� prabhṛti jṛmbhase śive || 138 ||

[վś reflects ʰś of Cit as Upādānakāraṇa]

վś Śپ shines in the form of Buddhi in the Sthiti state of Jagat. When united with Ś,she reflects and spreads[1] his lustre as the very soul of everything in the entire manifestation. 屹ṛn岹 consisting of Ā, , Agni, Jala and ū is born out of the union of Ś and Śپ (侱ԲԻ岹). Śپ acquires the lustre of Ś峾 [Ś?] due to his proximity. She in turn reflects his 侱ū貹 in and through the entire creation.
