This page relates 鈥楩lora (7): Shrubs鈥� of the study on the Amarakoshodghatana of Kshirasvamin (in English) which represents a commentary on the Amarakosha of Amarasimha. These ancient texts belong the Kosha or 鈥渓exicography鈥� category of Sanskrit literature which deals with the analysis and meaning of technical words from a variety of subjects, such as cosmology, anatomy, medicine, hygiene. (c) 叠峁沨补迟墨 (II. 4. 94; p. 104):
础尘补谤补办辞艣补 mentions 产峁沨补迟墨 and 苍颈诲颈驳诲丑颈办腻 as synonyms. 碍峁Ｄ玶补蝉惫腻尘颈苍 remarks that Amara was mislead by 叠丑腻驳耻谤颈鈥檚 statement in giving the two as synonyms. He is supported by Dhanvantari.
