A set of demons afraid of 惭补丑腻惫颈峁ａ箛耻, the destroyer of demons, fled to 笔腻迟腻濒补. Their leader was 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺. On reaching 笔腻迟腻濒补 he became their leader and emperor and he got the name of 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 from then onwards.

笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 performed severe austerities to propitiate 叠谤补丑尘腻 and got from him three extraordinary boons:鈥�(1) To travel freely in all the worlds without the use of any vehicle (2) To be well-versed in all magical arts (3) To be alive till the beetle-shaped blue diamond in his possession is broken into two.

笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 used all these boons for the welfare and emancipation of his own people. He was interested in teasing his enemies by the power of his boons. 搁腻惫补峁嘺, king of 尝补峁卥腻, had an alliance with 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺.

笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 had a cruel and huge brother named Kumbhodara who was an adept in magic. This brother always helped 笔腻迟腻濒补-搁腻惫补峁嘺 in all his activities.

The 搁腻尘补-搁腻惫补峁嘺 Yuddha was going on and 搁腻惫补峁嘺 began to suffer defeat after defeat in quick succession. 搁腻惫补峁嘺 then sent for 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 and his brother Kumbhodara. 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 felt sorry at the pitiable plight of 尝补峁卥腻 and both the 搁腻惫补峁嘺s sat together to discuss future plans. Though they had lost a major portion of their army, 搁腻惫补峁嘺 suggested they should fight with the rest of the army and kill 搁腻尘补. 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 was to kill 搁腻尘补 and 尝补峁卥腻-搁腻惫补峁嘺 was to marry 厂墨迟腻. 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 said that it was unwise to continue the fight with a small army but promised he would make a trial by using his magic powers.

笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 and Kumbhodara on leaving La峁噆膩 made themselves invisible and travelled above the camp of 艢r墨 搁腻尘补 to investigate the strength and manoeuvres of the 搁腻尘补-army. It was night and the whole place was lit by moonlight. The monkey soldiers were taking rest in different places. 痴颈产丑墨峁�a峁嘺 and 厂耻驳谤墨惫补 were talking in secret about grave matters. 艢r墨 搁腻尘补 was lying resting his head on the lap of 尝补办峁�m补峁嘺 and 尝补办峁�m补峁嘺 was mildly massaging the divine body of his brother. 贬补苍奴尘腻苍 was sitting on a big dais created by his tail and keeping watch over the whole camp.

笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 knew from what he saw that any attempt to carry away 搁腻尘补 from the surface of the ground was impossible and so he returned to 笔腻迟腻濒补. From there they made a tunnel up to the base of the seat of 贬补苍奴尘腻苍 and from there to where 搁腻尘补 lay. Then they carried 搁腻尘补 and 尝补办峁�m补峁嘺 to 笔腻迟腻濒补 before anybody could find it out by making them smell a sammohanadivyau峁�adha (divine medicine causing unconscious ness). They brought them to a temple of 惭补丑腻办腻濒墨 with the intention of offering them in a sacrifice to the deity the next day morning. They made all preparations for the same. 贬补苍奴尘腻苍 used to inspect the camp often and yet when after midnight he looked at the place where 搁腻尘补 and 尝补办峁�m补峁嘺 were sleeping he could not find them. He immediately woke up all and made a search and they then found the big hole of a tunnel near the place where 搁腻尘补 and 尝补办峁�m补峁嘺 were sleeping. All the leaders including 厂耻驳谤墨惫补 and 痴颈产丑墨峁�a峁嘺 assembled there and then 痴颈产丑墨峁�a峁嘺 told them what had happened. He then took 厂耻驳谤墨惫补, 贬补苍奴尘腻苍, 闯腻尘产补惫腻苍 and 础峁単补诲补 and a big army to 笔腻迟腻濒补 and went straight to the 惭补丑腻办腻濒墨 temple. There 笔腻迟腻濒补r膩va峁嘺 had already started the ceremonies for the sacrifice.
