The Vaisheshika-sutra 1.2.13, English translation, including commentaries such as the Upaskara of Shankara Mishra, the Vivriti of Jayanarayana-Tarkapanchanana and the Bhashya of Chandrakanta. तथ� गुणेषु भावाद्गुणत्वमुक्तम� � �.�.१३ �

ٲٳ ṇeṣu bhāvādṇaٱuktam || 1.2.13 ||

ٲٳ—in like manner; ṇeṣu—in Attributes; —from its existence; ṇaٱ—Aٳٰܳٱ-Ա; uktam—eԱ.

13. (That Attributeness is distinct from Substance, Attribute, and Action is) explained from its existence in Attributes.

Commentary: The 貹 of Śṅk Ѿś:

He states Attributeness.

The meaning is that in the very same way as Existence. Attribute-ness is explained to be distinct from Substance. Attribute, and Action, from its existence in (i.e., combination with) Attributes only.�13.
