சிவன்அரு ளா� சிவன்திர� நாமம�,
சிவன்அருள் ஆன்ம� திரோதம� மலமாயை,
சிவன்முத லாகச� சிறந்த� நிரோதம�,
பவமத� அகன்று பரசிவன� ஆம�.
civaṉaru ḷāya civaṉtiru nāmam,
civaṉaru� āṉmā tirōtam malamāyai,
civaṉmuta lākac ciṟantu nirōtam,
pavamatu akaṉṟu paraciva� āmē.
English translation of verse 2711:
Liberation Process
The Five-lettered name of Siva (Sivayanama)
Is Siva-Sakti (Grace);
Si for Siva, Va for Sakti, Ya for Jiva,
Na for Tirodayi and Ma for Maya (impure);
Thus the Five Letters, five relations denote;
As you chant with Si first (that is as Si Va Ya Na Ma)
You are of Karmas freed;
Births no more will be
You shall Para-Siva become.
