The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 2.1.205, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. तथाप्य� उत्क�-भक्तानां तत�-तत�-सौभग्य-भावनैः �
सञ्जन्यमानया तत�-तद�-आशयाधि� किलोद्भवेत� � २०� �tathāpy utkala-bhaktānā� tat-tat-saubhagya-屹Բ� |
ñᲹԲⲹԲ tat-tad-āśayādhi� kilodbhavet || 205 ||ٲٳ辱–sپ; utkala–of Orissa; 峾–of the devotees; ٲ-ٲٲܲ岵ⲹ–of their varied good fortune; 屹Բ�–on account of my thoughts; ñᲹԲⲹԲ–mԾڱپԲ; ٲ-ٲ-ś–desire for those various good fortunes; ī�–dٰ; kila–iԻ; udbhavet–would arise.
When I thought about the good fortune of the Utkala devotees, in my heart, I hankered to also receive it. However, this desire also caused distress to my mind.

Śī Gopa-ܳ says, “However, as soon as I thought about the Utkala devotees� good fortune in being able to joke with Śī Բٳ-deva, I would also develop a desire for similar special mercy.�
