The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 1.7.10, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. श्री-परीक्षिद् उवाच�
प्रयत्नात् स्वस्थता� नीतो ब्रह्मणा � खगेश्वरः �
विशारद-वर� पृष्ठे मन्द� मन्द� न्यधत्� तौ � १० �śrī-parīkṣid uvāca�
prayatnāt svasthatā� nīto brahmaṇ� sa khageśvara� |
ś岹-vara� pṛṣṭhe manda� manda� nyadhatta tau || 10 ||Śī ʲīṣi said: Śī ṛṣṇa and Śī 峾 began to regain their composure by the efforts of Śī . Then Ҳḍa, the king of birds, slowly and carefully placed them upon his back.

Because Śī Ҳḍa so expertly detects the intentions of Śī and acts accordingly to remove the swoon of , he addresses him as ś岹-vara, the most superior of skillful persons. Therefore, the highly adept Śī Ҳḍajī made Śī ṛṣṇa and Śī 峾 carefully sit upon his back.
