³Õ²â²¹±¹²¹²õ³Ù³óÄå²Ô²¹ (वà¥à¤¯à¤µà¤¸à¥à¤¥à¤¾à¤�) according to a note at the 2nd century MahÄprajñÄpÄramitÄÅ›Ästra chapter 52:—Ten bodhisattva ±¹²â²¹±¹²¹²õ³Ù³óÄå²Ô²¹²õ, named and explained, in the Avataṃsaka in the chapter on the bodhisattvadaÅ›a±¹²â²¹±¹²¹²õ³Ù³óÄå²Ô²¹²õ. The Sanskrit names of these ten abodes are given by the Gaṇá¸havyÅ«ha, ed.

  1. PrathamacittotpÄdika (tch’ou fa sin): bodhisattva producing the mind of bodhi for the first time.
  2. Ādhikarmika (tche ti): beginner.
  3. YogÄcÄra (sieou hing): practicing the practices.
  4. Janmaja (cheng kouei): of noble birth.
  5. Pūrvayogasaṃpanna (fang che kiu tsou): without antecedents.
  6. ÅšuddhÄdhyÄÅ›aya (tcheng sin): animated by high pure resolve.
  7. Avivartya (pou t’ouei): without regressing.
  8. KumÄrabhÅ«ta (t’ong tchen): crown prince of the Dharma.
  9. YauvarÄjya (fa wang rseu): quality of crown prince.
  10. Abhiá¹£ikta (kouang ting): anointed with crucial anointment.
