The associated deity for 厂耻诲丑腻谤尘颈苍墨 or Sudharm膩 according to the B峁沨atsa峁僪it膩 is Dharma. A tithi was defined as one thirtieth of a synodic month (c. 29.5 days), resulting in an average tithi being slightly less than a day.

Jyotisha concerns itself with the study and prediction of the movements of celestial bodies, in order to calculate the auspicious time for rituals and ceremonies.
