: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuᲹٰܳī (राजपुत्री) is another name for ṭuٳܳī, a medicinal plant identified with Lagenaria siceraria (calabash or bottle gourd or bitter gourd) from the Cucurbitaceae or “gourd family� of flowering plants, according to verse 3.56-57 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The third chapter (ḍūc徱-) of this book contains climbers and creepers (īܻ). Together with the names Ჹٰܳī and ṭuٳܳī, there are a total of eight Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
