: Shodhganga: Kasyapa Samhita鈥擳ext on Visha Chikitsa (p)顿补峁囜笉腻测耻诲丑补 (啶︵ぃ啷嵿ぁ啶距く啷佮ぇ) is mentioned in the meditation on Garu岣峚 in the 痴腻测耻尘补峁囜笉补濒补, according to the second chapter of the K膩艣yapa Sa峁僪it膩: an ancient Sanskrit text from the P膩帽car膩tra tradition dealing with both Tantra and Vi峁cikits膩 (Toxicology).鈥擳he K膩艣yapasa峁僪it膩 describes the different forms of Garu岣峚 in the five 产丑奴迟补-尘补峁囜笉补濒补蝉 on which the aspirant has to meditate upon to cure the snake-bite victim from the poison which could have killed him. In the V膩yu-ma峁囜笉ala, meditating on Garu岣峚, the v膩hana of Vi峁ａ箛u, seated in the eight-petalled lotus, with eight shoulders, holding in his hands, the conch, discus, nectar, snake, 蝉腻濒补 and 尘耻峁ａ弓颈, the fierce 诲补峁囜笉腻测耻诲丑补 decimate the poison and its spread.
