Aticira (अतिचिर) refers to a “long time� (of staying in a certain place), according to the ŚⲹԾ첹-śٰ: a Sanskrit treatise dealing with the divisions and benefits of Hunting and Hawking, written by Rājā Rudradeva (or Candradeva) in possibly the 13th century.—Accordingly, [while discussing the treatment of hawks]: “[...] Cool water should he given to them now and again; they shold be given the flesh of ṅk and of not kept for a long time (aticira-sthita), and such other light and tasteful food as they can digest. By degrees the quantities should be increased for their health. [...]�.
