He who is sundara, sumukha, svaccha, sulabha, sraddhavan, susthirasaya, alubdha, sthiragatra, preksyakari, jitendriya, astika, drdhabhakti, etc., is considered as the efficient disciple i.e., faultless, excellent having pleasant manners and tone, not crooked, listening to the preceptor, having firm ideas, not greedy, having firm physique, acting according to situations, having control over the senses, having true belief in God, devoted to the guru and to the God.
