This is a study in English of the Samrajya Lakshmi Pithika (written by Lolla Lakshmidhara) representing an encyclopedic manual for emperors. The Samrajyalaksmipithika encompasses about 3870 verses in addressing topics such as public festivals, governance, warfare (military strategy), and rituals associated with the Tantric worship for the deity Samrajya-Lakshmi.

Syamala and to gain physical vitality, the mantras of

Similarly, one who intends to destroy others
(paramarana) should use the mantras of AV beginning with
the formula, yan kalpayanti' etc. (AV. 10.1.1-32)
(designated as Krtyasukta), in the performance of a ritual
consisting of japa, homa, ball and Kilaka. And, homa and Japa
71 with the santanagopalamantra is useful in blessing, some
one with children (27-29).
10) Conclusion of Part-I
Various rituals dealt in this part reveal the fact
that these are characterised by a fairly evolved and highly
developed form like their counterparts, described in
connection with goddess SL. Whether it is a ritual given
to pacification, consecration or coronation all are found
to carry details like announcing of place and time, good day,
