Part 15 - Liberation according to ṃkⲹ philosophy

ṃkⲹ liberation is a state of complete isolation; freedom from all pains. In the state of liberation there is no pleasure, pain and happiness. ṃkⲹ believes that bondage and liberation are only phenomenal. The bondage of ʳܰṣa is a fiction. It is only the ego, the product of ʰṛt, which is bound. And consequently it is only the ego which is liberated. ʳܰṣa in its complete isolation, is untouched by bondage and liberation. The moment that right knowledge dawns, the person becomes liberated and even though he may be embodied due to prārabdha karma.

ṃkⲹ philosophy says that ǰṣa is attained by the means of knowledge of the distinction of ʳܰṣa and ʰṛt. This discriminative knowledge is known as 첹ñԲ. ṃkⲹ also admits that discriminative knowledge or wisdom give release from the material world. According to ṃkⲹ , the knowledge of distinction between ʰṛt and ʳܰṣa is the real knowledge which can dispel the cover of bondage forever.[1] The significance of the ʳܰṇa is recognized by our ancient thinkers also. It is said that the ʳܰṇas enable us to know the true significance of the Vedas. The Ѳٲ proclaims that the Vedas should be amplified by پ and ʳܰṇa.[2] پa here means the 峾ⲹṇa and Ѳٲ. From the religious point of view the ʳܰṇas are sectarian in character and propagate the supremacy of either վṣṇ or Ś or . The influence of the Puranic literature on Indian life is very significant. To people of the country, the ʳܰṇas have been a source of enlightenment affording them the education they needed at all stages and in all walks of life with the help of the materials most suited to the needs.
