The treatise "Kamasutra" by Vatsyayana is highlighted as a pioneering erotic text, addressing sexual pleasure as an art form.

cunning arts, wiles and devices which are resorted to by
harlots to decoy and lead to destroy guileness weak-
minded young men. The poet has taken the help of the
Kamasutra of Vatsy膩yana to depict erotic sentiment as
the wonderful ways of a young courtesan, who beguiles
the hearts of men.
