While Dhaumya was out of station, the ladies addressed
Uttaṅka, a pupil of Dhaumya thus O Uttaṅka, thy mistress
is in that season when connubial connection might be
fruitful. The preceptor is absent; then stand thou in his
place and do the needful.
43 King Bali saved the blind sage Dirghatamas from a
