vr墨hiryathodaka峁� tena h膩yan膩khy膩峁� prapadyate || 29 ||29. It passes (箩补丑腻迟颈) the actions associated with it just as rice seeds abandon water. Hence it is called 丑腻测补苍补 (year).
Commentary
[Time is One. As it passes various actions during a certain period, it is called 丑腻测补苍补 = that which passes or abandons. (See P. 3.1.148) The rice seed is also called 丑腻测补苍补 because it abandons the water which was associated with it.]
